The central wheels are made of hard maple wood, and the turned wooden handle is waxed. The discs are dyed and printed with colourful water-resistant inks and finely polish to a satin finish. The screen are painted and printed with up to 20 different variations.

The Swiss gyros are manufactured in the same process, the discs are coloured red and printed with the Swiss flag.
